A Global Pioneer in Education
Seven visionary educators and three compassionate patrons founded the KLE Society in 1916 with an unwavering commitment to fostering "Empowerment through Education". Over the past century, this organization has undergone a remarkable transformation, expanding from a single school into a vast network of 310 institutions dedicated to education, healthcare, research, and agriculture.
Today, KLE Society serves over 1,45,000 students, spanning from kindergarten to postdoctoral programs, supported by a dedicated team of 18,000 faculty members. With a steadfast focus on academic excellence, technological integration, and societal impact, the organization continues to evolve, setting new benchmarks and adapting to global advancements while staying true to its core mission of uplifting rural communities.
The KLE Society’s success is a testament to visionary leadership and collective effort across generations. Under the dynamic stewardship of Dr. Prabhakar Kore, MP, the organization has experienced exponential growth, gaining global recognition while remaining deeply rooted in its commitment to inclusive and transformative education.
